What your day looks like:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain trade waste systems (DAF, screw press, pits)
- Complete inspections, sampling, and basic testing to ensure compliance
- Troubleshoot issues (blockages, leaks, faults) and act quickly to resolve
- Carry out general maintenance tasks (plumbing, patching, painting, repairs)
- Support installation, replacement, and upkeep of site fixtures and equipment
- Conduct routine checks to identify and address safety or maintenance issues
Ingredients for Success:
- Experience working with trade waste systems or similar plant equipment
- Strong hands-on maintenance skills across general handyman tasks
- Solid understanding of safety, compliance, and environmental standards
- Proactive problem solver with the ability to work independently
- Clear communicator with a collaborative, team-focused approach
- Reliable, organised, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, tidy site
- Forklift License and EWP License required
- Overtime available
