About the Role:

The Warehouse Maintenance & Inventory Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating and optimising maintenance activities and spare parts inventory to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of the Huntingwood Automated Distribution Centre. 

Working closely with warehouse operations, engineering, automation vendors and external service providers, this role plays a critical part in maximising equipment uptime, improving maintenance effectiveness and ensuring spare parts availability whilst controlling cost. Experience in automated warehouse or factory environments is highly desirable.

 

What your day looks like:

  • Plan and coordinate preventative and predictive maintenance to maximise equipment uptime
  • Manage maintenance schedules, work orders and backlog priorities through SAP
  • Oversee and optimise spare parts inventory to ensure availability while controlling cost
  • Partner with warehouse operations and maintenance teams to align plans with operational needs
  • Work closely with suppliers and contractors to support automated systems and timely part supply
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency and asset performance

 

The Ingredients for Success:

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role; 
 
  • Strong experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within industrial, warehouse or manufacturing environments
  • Hands-on SAP experience (PM/MM highly regarded), including asset and inventory data management
  • Proven capability in spare parts inventory planning and optimisation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance teams and external suppliers
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on safety, reliability and operational efficiency
