About the Job
At The Arnott’s Group, we’re looking for an Infrastructure & Cloud Manager to lead and evolve the technology foundations that keep our business connected and our manufacturing environments running.
Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure & Operations, you’ll lead a hybrid environment spanning Microsoft Azure, on-premises infrastructure, compute, storage and networking, supporting both corporate and manufacturing operations.
 
This is more than keeping the lights on. You’ll help move our infrastructure environment from reactive to proactive, building greater resilience, automation, observability and maturity, while leading technical capability, partners and key technology investments.
 
 
About You
You’re curious and confident, with the technical credibility to understand the detail and the commercial mindset to see the bigger picture.
You know Azure and hybrid infrastructure, but you’re not someone who wants to stay buried in the technology. You can lead people, manage partners, influence stakeholders and make sound commercial decisions.
You’re proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable challenging how things are done today to build a more resilient and mature infrastructure environment.
 
 
What Your Days Look Like
  • Lead our Azure, on-premises, compute, storage and network infrastructure.
  • Support resilient infrastructure across corporate and manufacturing environments.
  • Lead and develop technical infrastructure specialists.
  • Manage cloud and infrastructure partners, vendors, SLAs and service performance.
  • Drive stronger monitoring, observability, automation and preventative maintenance.
  • Lead infrastructure lifecycle, patching, backup, recovery and resilience.
  • Partner with Digital Manufacturing/OT, Cybersecurity and Data & Analytics.
  • Balance BAU operations with infrastructure modernisation and strategic projects.
  • Manage and optimise significant Azure, network and telecommunications investment.
 
The Ingredients for Success
  • Strong experience leading cloud and infrastructure operations in a hybrid environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Broad experience across compute, storage, networking, backup, recovery and monitoring.
  • Experience leading technical teams and managing MSPs and technology vendors.
  • Strong commercial capability across budgets, vendors and technology investment.
  • Experience supporting complex, business-critical environments, with manufacturing, FMCG or supply chain experience highly regarded.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to translate technical challenges into business outcomes.
  • A proactive approach to resilience, automation, infrastructure maturity and continuous improvement.
