The Role

This is not a back-office reporting role.

We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to play a pivotal role at the centre of our ANZ Snacking business – focused on shaping our brand / category performance and driving smarter, more disciplined innovation decisions.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you will combine financial rigour, market insight and stakeholder influence to challenge assumptions, strengthen decision-making, and drive more disciplined, value-accretive growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the financial governance of new product development (NPD) from concept through to post-launch
  • Build and challenge business cases, with clear articulation of risks, assumptions and expected returns
  • Analyse category and brand performance, including key drivers of volume, rate and mix.
  • Integrate IRI, Quantium and Synergy market data into financial analysis, assessing the impact of category, customer and competitor dynamics into category and brand performance
  • Turn data into clear, actionable insights that influence key commercial decisions
  • Partner with Category, RGM and Supply Chain stakeholders to influence commercial decisions

What Makes This Role Different

  • High exposure role influencing category strategy and innovation investment
  • Work across some of Australia’s most recognisable FMCG brands
  • Develop end-to-end commercial capability across finance, category and marketing
  • Clear pathway into Business Partnering, Category or Commercial Finance leadership roles
  • Collaborative, fast-paced environment where your impact is visible

What You Bring

  • Solid experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Analytical roles
  • Strong analytical capability with ability to identify key commercial and financial drivers
  • Proven experience translating analysis into clear, actionable business recommendations
  • Confidence to influence and challenge stakeholders
  • FMCG experience preferred

What Success Looks Like

  • You become a trusted advisor to commercial stakeholders, providing clear, data-driven recommendations that influence decisions
  • You embed financial rigour into NPD, ensuring robust assumptions and accountability to business cases
  • You communicate insights in a clear, concise and actionable way, tailored for senior stakeholders

Who you are

  • You’re a commercially curious analyst who wants to go beyond reporting and influence real decisions. You enjoy working with data, but more importantly, you know how to turn it into a clear story and drive action.
  • You’re confident enough to challenge thinking, eager to learn, and motivated by seeing the real-world impact of your work.

Why join Arnott’s?

  • Be part of a business with iconic brands and strong heritage
  • Work in a team that values collaboration, curiosity and ownership
  • Flexible working and strong focus on wellbeing
  • Real opportunities for growth and career progression
