Social & Content Manager - Shapes

Department:  Marketing - ANZ
Location:

North Strathfield, NSW, AU, 2137

Job Function:  Marketing - ANZ
Employment Type:  Full time
About the Job
At The Arnott's Group, you'll find some of Australia's most loved brands, including Arnott's, Tim Tam, Shapes, Scotch Finger, Jatz and Vita-Weat. For more than 160 years, we've been creating delicious moments for consumers across Australia, New Zealand and beyond.

We're looking for a Social & Content Manager to lead the social and content agenda for Shapes.

Shapes is more than a snack brand. It's a brand built on bold flavour, strong opinions, friendly rivalries and bringing people together. Whether it's backing your team during the NRL season, debating the best Shapes flavour, gathering for State of Origin, sharing snacks with mates or joining a conversation that's taking off online, Shapes has earned a place in the moments Australians love most.

Reporting to the Global Brand Lead - Shapes, you'll own and implement the brand's social strategy and content ecosystem, driving cultural relevance, brand love and commercial impact.

You'll be responsible for ensuring Shapes shows up where culture is happening. From creator partnerships and social-first campaigns to trending conversations, community engagement and real-time moments, you'll identify opportunities for the brand to earn attention and participate authentically.

Working closely with Brand, Growth Partnerships & PR, Product Development, Customer Experience and Commercial teams, you'll help Shapes strengthen its role as Australia's favourite social snacking brand and continue building momentum for future growth.

About You
You're curious, confident and connected to culture.

You instinctively understand why people share content, what drives conversation and how brands can become part of culture rather than simply advertise within it.

You might be following the latest creator trends, keeping up with NRL storylines, spotting emerging social behaviours or identifying new opportunities for brands to connect with communities. You know how to turn those insights into ideas that drive engagement, relevance and results.

You're equally comfortable developing strategy, influencing stakeholders, analysing data and rolling up your sleeves to execute great work.

Most importantly, you're passionate about building brands that people actively talk about, share and champion.

What Your Days Look Like
  • Owning and executing the Shapes social and content strategy.
  • Bringing the Shapes personality to life through bold, distinctive and social-first content.
  • Developing always-on content plans across campaigns, creators, community management, partnerships, PR moments and events.
  • Identifying opportunities across sport, gaming, entertainment, food, creators and cultural conversations where Shapes can authentically participate.
  • Leading creator and influencer partnerships from briefing through to execution and optimisation.
  • Driving community engagement and helping Shapes show up with confidence, personality and relevance.
  • Using social listening, consumer insights and performance data to identify opportunities and improve effectiveness.
  • Embedding social thinking into brand campaigns, innovation launches, retail activations and commercial initiatives.
  • Measuring performance and translating insights into recommendations that drive continuous improvement.
  • Presenting social strategy, learnings and results to senior stakeholders.

The Ingredients for Success
  • 7+ years' experience in social media, content, digital marketing or brand marketing.
  • Proven experience building and executing successful social strategies for consumer brands.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, creators, communities and digital culture.
  • Strong experience managing influencer and creator partnerships.
  • Ability to identify trends and translate them into impactful brand activity.
  • Experience using social listening, analytics and performance measurement tools.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how social contributes to business growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and project management capability.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related discipline.

Perks
  • A collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Learning and development opportunities to support your career growth.
  • Health and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Product discount across The Arnott's Group portfolio.
  • The opportunity to work on one of Australia's most recognised and culturally relevant brands.
