About the Role: 

 

Exciting opportunity for a night shift machine operator at Arnott's Virginia.  This is a perfect role for someone who has the competency to operate machinery working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Be a part of a biscuit manufacturing production line creating some of Arnott’s favourite products through mixing, forming, baking, and packaging processes.   If you thrive on challenges and can provide practical solutions to complex problems this role is for you

What your day looks like: 

  • Work autonomously and as team member to deliver daily production requirements against performance criteria. 
  • Set up, changeovers, operating and troubleshooting of equipment within Arnott's OH&S, Quality and Performance Standards. 
  • Perform process area cleaning to maintain company compliance, GMP and HACCP standards. 

 

The Ingredients for Success: 

 

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role: 

  • Previous automated machine operating experience working in a food manufacturing environment is highly regarded though not essential. Demonstrated ability to easily learn these skills will also be advantageous. 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a proven ability to troubleshoot on machines and problem solve products quality attributes. 
  • Able to complete a full medical and mechanical aptitude testing upon request.
